Our Moon moves swiftly throughout its various lunar cycles, and a new lunar cycle is about to come soon. Are you prepared for the conflicting and exciting energy of this Full Moon?
The Full Moon of February is going to rise on the 19th of February, 2019. A lot of people will probably wonder what they may expect to experience and feel, and what it is going to be called or other distinguishing features which they have to know. It looks like the Full Moon in February will be a special one.
The Full Moon of February will be the second one from the three Full Moon Supermoons happening on the 21st of January, 19th of February and 21st of March, this year. So, the one we are going to talk about here, the February Full Moon, is said to be the most ‘super’ Full Moon of all the three, as it is the one which most nearly aligns with the so-called perigee, which is the closest point of the Moon to the planet Earth in the monthly orbit.
However, it is not only going to be the biggest one of this year, but this Supermoon is going to be accompanied by the brightest Leo’s constellation in Leon, known as Regulus. So, there is no doubt that the sky is going to be quite bright during this Full Moon. The difference from February of last year is quite big, as last year there was no Full Moon during this time.
The name of the Full Moon.
This particular Full Moon has its name, just like any other Full Moon. Since ancient times, our Moon has been given some names by the month in which it occurred, to follow the changing of the seasons. Native American tribes and Europeans named the different lunar phases based on things associated with a particular season. So, logically enough, the Full Moon of this month is named the Snow Moon. However, this is not the only name, as there are others such as the Storm Moon, the Chaste Moon, or Hunger Moon.
What should you expect from this Full Moon?
The Snow Moon is going to rise in the sign of Virgo, and it is going to be an excellent time to manifest. It will be the right time for you to be brave and remove every negative thing which has brought you down. You can even reevaluate your own life, figuring out what no longer serves you in life.
Moreover, you can expect adventures during this period. When in combination with the Uranus and Mars conjunction, the Regulus is going to bring rebellion into you; however, it is also going to irritate. These are high spirited and lusty, so you can expect the energy in you to bring some adventure. But, another important thing you should know is that Neptune and Mercury conjunction, and even Saturn and Venus conjunction, are going to have you in some negative headspace, although their sextile is going to come to save you.
While you are going to notice several conflicts in life at this Full Moon, those conflicts will mostly be alleviated when it ends. Full Moons in Virgo can be quite stressful, because we usually put some additional pressure on our own selves, in order to meet the impossible expectations.
Furthermore, we focus a lot on some small things, becoming anxious and worrying without any reason. So, remember to step back and take breaks right when you feel the need to. Also, make sure that you don’t lose sight of the bigger picture.
The energy of the Full Moon is going to be excellent when you take some of the bigger pictures. In fact, it may bring numerous opportunities, and it is going to turn out positive things in your life. You only have to stay calm, because everything is going to be alright.
